Goa, 15th March 2017: The UBA Pro Basketball League will host a Slam dunk contest and a 3-point shootout for the very first time in UBA history on 15th March at 4 PM. The competitions will be telecast on Ten Sports network at 6:30 PM on 16th March.

The UBA Season 4 has seen some expert marksmanship from 3-point range with snipers scorching the earth from downtown like flamethrowers irrespective of how tightly the defenders mark them. We've seen shooters make over 7 threes this season on numerous occasions while shooting way above 50% from downtown. It will be intriguing to see how they fare in a classic shootout against each other and the clock.

While slam dunks only count for two points, they can change the momentum of a contest by infusing the dunker's team with energy while draining the opponents' will. UBA Season 4 saw the roof being blown off the building with some thunderous dunks, and the finest dunkers will showcase the best dunks in their repertoire during the slam dunk contest to be held today. We've been treated to one handed hammers, two handed posters, alley-oop jams, and numerous other dunks during in-game situations. The imagination boggles at the thought of what these high-flying superstars will do in an actual slam dunk contest.

The field will be narrowed from the following names who are scheduled to appear and the winners will take home the prizes:
